The singer, born on March 11, 1981 in Houston, Texas, is an American singer-songwriter, actress and philanthropist. She is best know as being one of the founding members of the ’90s girl group, Destiny’s Child alongside Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and LaTavia Roberson. While with the group, from 1993-2000, LeToya won two Grammy Awards. She left Destiny’s Child due to issues with management, and then launched her solo career. She went on to release two studio albums and a number of singles. At the same time, LeToya was acting in television shows and movies. LeToya married entrepreneur Tommicus Walker in December 2017. They welcomed their first child together — daughter, Gianna Iman Walker, on January 4, 2019. On March 19, both LeToya and Tommicus announced that they were expecting their second child together. LeToya is stepmom to Tommicus’ daughter, Madison, from a previous relationship.
